Strixhaven Supplemental Volume II: The Rulebook is meant to be a companion to Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos. This content contains the following rule additions which can be optionally used by DMs to add a level of realism to their campaign.
- Student Skills: 5 new skills that add modifiers for certain rolls pertaining to classes, exams, extracurriculars, jobs, and more. Specially designed to allow players more control over the type of student they play as but not enough to completely overpower gameplay. Includes rules for allocating points and earning new points for these skills.
- Academic Life: Rules based around classes, homework, labs (See Volume I for lab examples), and exams complete with roleplay suggestions, grades, and weights for classes. Additionally contains information on remedial lessons for students who may bomb their exams.
- Free Time: Structured rules on the days of the week and possible things students can do with their free time such as homework, hanging out with other students, office hours, and more. Includes several example schedules to help things make sense.
- Mage Tower: One of the coolest, most built up events in the whole campaign boils down to a number of skill checks. No more! Included in this guide are rules for making Mage Tower an engaging, strategic event complete with rules on map composition, harming players, carrying, passing, receiving, and scoring. Rules can easily be tweaked and expanded for special matches so no two games of Mage Tower are alike! (Because why make such an awesome thing only happen once every three years?)
