Confront D&D’s most iconic death knight on his home ground in this epilogue to Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen!

Lord Soth, the Knight of the Black Rose, is raising an armada of undead dragons in the mountains surrounding his burnt and blackened fortress of Dargaard Keep.  Ansalon will never know peace while his malign influence endures.  End his legacy of evil forever in this 50-page original adventure created by the Dragonlance Nexus.

Featuring a foreword by James Lowder, ENnie Award-winning author of Knight of the Black Rose and Spectre of the Black Rose!

  • Eleven 4K digital battle maps of Soth’s ancient citadel Dargaard Keep from the Crypts to the Apex with gridded variants and variants scaled for Roll20 and Foundry VTT.
  • Dynamic and colorful NPCs including Soth’s treacherous steward Sir Caradoc, the remorseful banshee Leedara of Silvanesti, and the unpredictable kender vampire Lorry Wanwillow, each with their own side quest.
  • 3 new monsters including the horrid banshees of Dargaard Keep.
  • 7 new magical items including Soth’s iconic mace.

Heyo! Loving the module, all of my Dragonlance campaigns that have gotten to the expansion are loving it so far! I did notice though, I think rooms B13 and B14 are swapped, notably the room on the map B14 doesn't have a "Grand Bed"

Hey! I just purchased the book and I'm loving it so far. I do have a question tho, there is a map included for Level 2 called Kitiara alternative, but there is no description of it anywhere in the module. Am I correct in assuming that it's just for people who essentially want a Kitiara cameo in it? Or did I miss something?

Hi there, thanks for your purchase! An earlier draft had plans for her room as an Easter egg, and potential npc. They were scrapped.

Finally a much needed epilogue to this adventure. Thank you very much! After a quick read it seems amazing and I will definitely use it so my players can kill one of the best villains ever designed. I feel kind of sad though because I am growing attached to Soth and I would rather have the player characters killed but oh well.

Thank you for your purchase! It's your game, you can always have Soth survive somehow, or perhaps even redeemed.

Page 7, and then pages 42 and up to match canon. Just ensuring the lore is intact and matches the novels. The adventure and npc's are open to differing storylines.

Nice revision. You just forgot to mention Soth being Lord Holger's squire as told in the Kingpriest Trilogy: Volume one: CHOSEN OF THE GODS.

It's actually first quoted from the Lord Soth novel by Edo Van Belkom. It's not very relevant to Soth's main narrative, though, with all the betrayal, murder etc..

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
